I am secretary for the Saracens Rugby Club supporters club in Leeds. We travel to most matches, and have recently switched to use Momentum as our coach company of choice after being let down elsewhere. The coaches are modern, slick and comfortable- which certainly makes a big difference on long away journeys. The staff are always friendly, and we have got a real relationship going. Momentum continues to give us excellent service at competitive prices, which is why we use them. The service is simple, honest and exactly what you need if you're organising an event. Thank you Momentum for all your help in 2009, and all of our members look forward to travelling with you in 2010.
I used Momentum to transport over 60 pupils to the Imperial War Museum in Central London. Right from the start, the employee I spoke to was knowledgable, courteous and friendly. When the coach arrived, it was clean, tidy, modern and well driven. Our driver, John, was friendly and clearly knew the roads very well. We arrived on time and a good day was had by all. I will use them for our next trip in February.
I recently hired a 50 seat and a 34 seat from Momentum Coach Hire. I requested executive level coaches that were no more than 4yrs old. I asked for images of the coaches that I would hire. I was told that the coaches were like the ones on their web page. I spent one week looking for coaches to hire. Due to the initial good communication I had with their employee I decided to use this company. I was told that cost of was £670. I was asked for an additional £40 because of miscalculation the day before the event. No explanation of how I was been charged was explained. I agreed to pay the additional monies due to lack of time. I found that the method of payment to the company was outdated by today’s standards. Payment by debit or credit card incurred an additional fee of 2.9%. The only ways to avoid this was payment by bank transfer, direct cash payment to their bank or cheque. The simplest on my part was bank transfer. There were numerous phone calls made between myself and the company before they would accept that the money was paid. On the day of the event I arrived to find coaches that were about 10 to 15 yrs old. Although the coaches were clean, one coach had a column of rust by the coach door. The drivers were friendly but did not seem to know the roads in the area to avoid traffic. I was wrongly sold this service. I chose this company because I expressed a desire for good quality products which I did not receive. Their nearest comparison was about £100 cheaper. I am dissatisfied with this company. This company’s products are not worth the money.
